Jets To Brazil

Consisting of ex-Jawbreaker frontman Blake Schwarzenbach, ex-Texas Is the Reason drummer Chris Daly, and ex-Handsome vocalist/guitarist Jeremy Chatelain, Jets to Brazil could be considered an amalgam of their forefathers with a slightly darker and more mature musical perspective. With the 1998 release of their first LP, Orange Rhyming Dictionary, Jets to Brazil took the expectations of their peers and turned them on their heads, surprising most with their breed of music that is fresh and excitingly powerful. As the bandmembers continue to move away from their namesakes and become more comfortable with their expanding sound, the world could see something quite intriguing evolve. Jets to Brazil followed up with Four Cornered Night in August 2000. Two years later, the band returned with their darkest, most inspirational material to date; Perfecting Loneliness appeared on Jade Tree in October 2002 and reflected mega-tight musicianship from the band. ~ Blake Butler, Rovi

I walked around with an Orange Rhyming Dictionary CD in my pocket for months. Just waiting for someone to ask if I had heard any good music lately. Just waiting for the chance to play it for someone. Great album. great band!
I love them. They move me
i've listent to JTB and i just can't like them. i try. i want to. i just can't. it's so.....emo.. . d a m m i t blake. dammit.
I like this song. It makes me all jiggly inside.
OMGG (thats "oh my Greek gods") my best friend just introduced me to this band yesterday and I'm already dying because I'm in love with it so much.
where's orange rhyming dictionary?
Always dug these guys, I was more in to Texas is the reason, and do they sound like korn, might aswell compare them to i.c.p
Ive been obsessed with this band since 1998. Every major event in my life has a correspondin g song or album as its soundtrack, and most of them consist of JTB. To this day I still can't get on a plane without saying to myself, if there's babies I'll survive.

They sound nothing like korn. Are you kidding?
I was undoubtedly in one of the darkest hours of my life, when a friend handed me a copy of Four Cornered Night and told me it had helped him thru his dark hour. That album saved my life. Every night, as I lay in bed, lamenting my mistakes and wishing thru tear soaked eyes, she would just hear my pain, the poetry of this band, slowly began to mend my broken heart with its tightly woven fabric.

i dunno, i'm hearing a combination of solvent and jihad jerry & the evil doers personally - but i like it, i like it. the only problem i have with jtb is that blake wanted to teach instead of rock, weird.

Too bad they don't have Orange Rhyming Dictionary on here. That's my favorite by them...

Blake Schwarzenbac h should be put in jail for quitting music...and if he wants out then he should write 11 songs and go on tour.

We all know JTB sounds like Limp Bizkit!
I don't think they sound anything like Korn. I think its more of a mix between Slayer and Nelly Furtado, but hey thats just me...
Korn... Dude???
Ya right...they totally ripped off Korn's sound
epic band; beautiful music. just awe inspiring.
I just have to say, this band sounds so much like Korn that it is scary. I thought that I was listening to Korn before I learned that it was Jets to Brazil. Jets to Brazil needs to find their own sound and stop copying Korn. Korn should sue them.
