In 2002, Molaskey released her first solo album, Pentimento, which put a jazzy, modernistic twist on American songs from the 1920s and '30s. It was followed a year later by A Good Day, which applied the same style to 1950s vocal standards. Both albums featured the guitar and production work of Molaskey's jazz guitarist husband John Pizzarelli. ~ Linda Seida, Rovi

I first heard Melody on Jonathan Swarzman's Sirus XM High Standards - Music of the 40's. I just assumed Melody recorded in the 40's, ah but no. Melody is a current artist I intend to follow in the future.
