In regards to Colin Millers comment, The Shins are from Albuquerque, New Mexico, not from the U.K. Although they have the similar indie style as the British.

I am very much reminded of Nick Drake's music. Not sure yet whether it's in a good or bad way. It's almost derivative, but different enough to merit more than a few listens. I think I'll pick up the album.
