Saw him in Kemmerer, WY last weekend. Can't say much for the Alaskan Fiddling Poet he was with, "Meow", but Jalan was awesome on both the guitar and the banjer
I first saw Jalan at Coyote Joes bar while living in Prescott AZ.And couldnt believe his awsome pickn and song writing.I hope to hear alot more of him on Pandora.I just heard today that he has a new record deal .cant wait for a new album.

I saw Jalan in my hometown bar, The Depot Deli and Lounge in Shenandoah, IA (5-6 years ago). The best guitar/banjo picker I have ever seen or heard. I am really happy to find him on Pandora, but Pandora needs more of him. I bought his "Poorboy Shanty" album at the bar and loved it. I found Jalan on a public access station in Gillette WY while staying there for a couple weeks working in the coal mines. Bought his album off his web site and have been in love with the music ever sense. Keep it coming Jalan!!!!
