Drawing on the talents of up-and-coming Nashvillians Andy Hall, Chris Eldridge, Chris Pandolfi, Jeremy Garrett, Jesse Cobb, and Travis Book, the Infamous Stringdusters manage to balance a fluency in old-timey bluegrass with indie jamgrass sensibilities. They released their first album, Fork in the Road, on Sugar Hill in early 2007, which resulted in three awards from the International Bluegrass Music Association later that year. An eponymous sophomore effort arrived in 2008, followed by Things That Fly in 2010. ~ Margaret Reges, Rovi
Love these young bluegrass bands- The Stringdusters, Steeldrivers, Steep Canyon Rangers, Sierra Hull and more. My wife is a mando player and we've had the chance to meet all these folks at the Gettysburg Bluegrass festival, Grey Fox and other events. Keep the good stuff coming.
stringdusters have broken a barrier between studio releases and live jam-improvision......they jam like bands comparable to phish and yonder mountain, while still maintaining vocal harmony and pitch while exploring the jamscape that is so desired with fans
Stringdusters played the Filling Station in Bozeman last weekend on their Ski Tour - It was my third time seeing them and each time they've been amazing! Fast, tight, polished! A not-to-miss show.

LOVE YOU GUYS! When are you coming back to Ann Arbor?

Chris Eldridge not guitar on Things That Fly. It is Andy Falco.
Great musicians, great recordings. Unfortunately the 3 times I've heard them live, their show just wasn't as energetic as one might have hoped - maybe too many days on the road. Love their albums!
