Il Divo put a fresh face on popular songs, utilizing their exceptional voices, good looks, and cultural diversity to bring their romantic blend of classical and pop music to audiences around the world. Formed after a two-year search, the quartet is comprised of American tenor David Miller, popular French singer Sébastien Izambard, Swiss tenor Urs Buhler, and Spanish baritone Carlos Marin. Their eponymous debut album was released in April of 2005 and featured a diverse play list that included a cover of the Toni Braxton hit "Unbreak My Heart" and the Frank Sinatra standard "My Way," as well as "Nella Fantasia," a newly arranged -- with vocals -- version of "Gabriel's Oboe" from Ennio Morricone's score for The Mission. It became a massive world-wide hit, and the quartet returned in 2005 with Ancora, a ten-track collection of new music featuring the hit "I Believe in You" with Celine Dion. The similarly themed Siempre arrived in 2006, followed by Promise in 2008. 2011's Wicked Game, the group's sixth studio album, featured ten new tracks, including "Don't Cry for Me Argentina", "Come What May (Te Amore)," and a reworking of the Chris Isaak-penned title cut. ~ James Christopher Monger, Rovi

From the first time I heard and saw the video of Amazing Grace on You Tube, I was transfixed. I appreciate the classiness of their appearance and the quality of their singing. When I listen to them, my life is enhanced beyond belief. I saw them in person in Salt Lake City, and could not believe I was able to blessed to experience that. I so hope they stay around for a very, very long time. Thank you Il Divo for sharing your talent !!!!

I listen to the music of Il Divo without tiring of it. They are a gift to the Planet. They lift me to heavenly places and I forget the rest of the world around me. while these handsome and greatly talented men share their voices and splendor. I love them and thank them and all of those talented people who make Il Divo possible.
I've seen these luscious guys in Boca Raton, FL and what a performance it was. Have all their albums. I don't know the language but it doesn't matter, they put me in a place where I can go alone and get lost in the music and their fabulous voices. Sometimes, there are tears rolling down my face, simply from enjoyment. Keep it up guys.
Best vocals on Earth! I think I have all their albums & listen almost daily. Hope someday they make one with gospel type music - On Eagles Wings, How Great Thou Art, etc. Their rendition of Amazing Grace is the best ever,
Their music is awesome. Just saw them in San Diego and was blown away.

Too bad nanatex, I saw them last month in CT. Still a lot of open seats. They were amazing!! They are recording a new album, so maybe there will be hope for you on their next tour. FYI.. if you belong to their website, you can buy tickets to any of their concerts before they go on sale to the general public. Good seats too!
I cannot explain what their voices do to me. I have tried to see them in the states but they sell out in seconds. I forget everything listening to them and when down listen to them and I go somewhere else in time.....Their are no words to describe them together!!!!
Il Divo isn't really pop culture in the sense that Lady Gaga or Rihanna is pop culture (forgive for saying their names). Il Divo is actually good. I hope they put pop as we know it out of business.

I am behind in pop culture but thanks to Pandora have really gotten to appreciate these guys.
Stunning voices! Their diversity really says a lot about acceptance and willingness to venture beyond the typical scope of forming groups. They're beautiful all around, really, and pretty easy on the eyes--that's just an added bonus.
Absolute #1 for contemporary opera...bar none. Beautiful, strong voices, perfectly balanced harmonies, absolutely flawless technique...there's not a better group out there. there's just not.

I also heard them for the 1st time singing Unchained Melody on the Y&R singing for Victor & Nikki Newman. It was so incredibly sexy, it was instant and everlasting love. I had never heard and still haven't till this day.
