Yop i wish you was her rite now
The lyrics mostly have to do with Bob Dylan songs, which he talks about in this song. He says "Put on a little Dylan" and "Ain't Bobby so cool?" The bit about shooting a man named Gray is from Dylan's song "Idiot Wind" and "tangled up in blue" is the title and repeating lyric of one of Dylan's most well known songs. The only part that doesn't really make sense is the bit about dolphins making him cry, which I think is just filler to keep the song going.

The lyrics never made any sense to me. Even before I saw them in black and white. Not any better now that I can see them.
live version stinks
He sounds like he is mumbling the words on this version and going too fast. I don't care for it too much. :(
Hearing it is different from experiencing it...
I really dont like this version on this song. Hootie live is not that great. I did see Darius Rucker live and he was great. This song however is awful live if you ask me.
