They played this horrible song on the For Against station, please stop.
Slappin da bass, mon!
love a good bassline, but this is mixed too far upfront
You can only leave a negative comment if you can write better than Adam
awesome song
Interesting. . . d i d n ' t know he did this song w/another band prior to Counting Crows.
This is one of my least favorite Counting Crows songs. I have been a big fan of the Counting Crows for what seems like ever! I have seen them 3 times in concert. Why did I not know about The Himalayans? OMG This is sooooo great! I love this song now! Sing it Adam! Awesome!!! This just made my day!!!
First I've ever heard of them--yes, definitely glad Adam Duritz left and started the Counting Crows, NOT the Black Crows (@Daniel Wayne Keith)! This song is much better in the Counting Crows style.
Wow, much better taking away that terrible bass line that's way to over emphesized for a song like this.

wow.. slap bass... haha..
good stuff
nice music trivia here. =)
wow, this song really shows the difference when you keep the singer but change the band. I'm glad he left them and went to Black Crows.

I've never heard of these guys but it was immediately obvious that it was Adam Duritz singing. Initially I thought it was a side band or something. THanks for the info dzankich. I'm going to listen for more from these guys. I love Duritz and the crows.
now all is clear. . .counting crows!

Here's an excerpt from Wikipedia:
"The Himalayans disbanded amicably in 1991 when Adam Duritz left the band to form Counting Crows with guitarist David Bryson (who also produced The Himalayans' demo recording). The Himalayans song "Round Here" was recorded on Counting Crows' first album (being the opening track), and remains popular at their live performances . "
P.S. It sux.
It's got to be the counting crows guy!!

Looks like it was Adam Duritz's pre-Counting Crows band. Apparently they did the original "Round Here".
