Since forming in 1992, Italy's Graveworm have unleashed a number of very sophisticated gothic-symphonic black metal albums, including 1997's When Daylight's Gone, 1999's As the Angels Reach the Beauty, 2001's critically acclaimed Scourge of Malice, and 2003's Engraved in Black -- plus a handful of EPs. These have earned them comparisons to Norwegians Dimmu Borgir and Brits Cradle of Filth, among others, and the current lineup of vocalist Stefan Fiori, guitarists Harry Klenk and Orgler Thomas, keyboardist Sabine Mair, bassist Eric Righi, and drummer Martin Innerbichler completed Graveworm's fifth full-length, (N)utopia, for release in 2005. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia, Rovi
A very unique blend of symphonic BM background with DM downtuned guitars and melodeath groove riffing topped with grindcore like dual DM growl harmonies. Like if Deicide and Dimmu Borgir fused together and some Amon Amarth got mixed in. I really like it.
If you guys haven't already heard their cover of "Losing My Religion" originally by REM, you should definitely YouTube it. It's really, really awesome.

I love old Filth. New Filth is almost unbearable. No matter how mainstream they become, I'll always have respect for that band.
Graveworm's newer albums aren't so great IMO.

IF these guys sound like Cradle of Filth, then its COF's albums Damnation-Thornography. Nothing like good old COF
I F**king love this band. Comparing them to Cradle of Filth isn't really sensible. Two vastly different vibes. Graveworm has that atmosphere of total futility and despair, Cradle of Filth has an almost theatric vibe (well their older stuff anyway)... Damn you Pandora, you left out their best albums!!! WTF!!!!
Does it matter if they are satanists (I don't think they are, probably just atheists), this music melts my brain in euphoric pleasure and it should for you as well if you have any taste in metal
