English alt-rock outfit Graffiti6 were formed in 2008 around the talents of singer/songwriter Jamie Scott and writer/producer and DJ Tommy D. Scott, who came to prominence as the frontman for Jamie Scott & the Town, and Tommy D, who has worked with everyone from Right Said Fred to Kanye West, specialize in a heady, upbeat blend of soulful electro-pop that falls somewhere in between the Beta Band, Morcheeba, and Gnarls Barkley. The groups self-described "psychedelic Northern soul" first appeared in 2009 with the track "Stare into the Sun," followed in 2010 by the EP Stone in My Heart and the full-length Colours. ~ James Christopher Monger, Rovi
I've been obsessed with Graffiti6 ever since I heard their song Annie You Save Me. These guys are amazing! I have their album and love every song! Listening to Graffiti6 always puts me into a good mood. Their music is so different then anything else out there, I just wish they had more attention that they should deserve.
I frigging love them and after hearing Jamie Scott helped write for 1D , I freaking flipped out cuz I love them sooooo much (sigh, if only life worked out like music did)
Not to say we in America don't have our share of great talent in the contemporary music field. But, the UK just seems to have more than it's share. This Group is great and Jamie Scott's voice is sic.
