Saw him in '91 in San Antonio, and in Houston. Came in wearing a watch cap, boots, his leather, and some aviators! Hahaha! Dude was awesome for all his degeneracy. Talked forever about suiciding onstage with a stick of dynamite up his a**!lol You don't see any of his sort anymore! Bunch of fashion punks now, with their belief systems right in line with the systems, and they still try and tell us they are non-conformist! WTF ever.
GG is far from God, but he was someone that had the balls to treat rock and roll the way it should be, scary and dirty. And to rainey: "Country GG" (Carnival Of Excess) is one of the best records ever made. GG did it his way, alot of people say they've done it their way, but GG actually did. I salute the man for living the way many people wish they could. "Everybody knows that I'm a scumbag!" You can't not love the man!
I think GG's hilarious, but I also felt kinda sorry for him. Some of his softer/acoustic stuff was surprising touching...for a maniacal sh*t-eating drug addict. And it's quite obvious from videos of his live performances that a good portion of his animalistic rage and self-destruction was due to his teeny tiny little pecker...Let the poor bloke rest in peace.
that was fun i'd never heard of him and found it from anal c**ts page i try to give any and all music a chance and this wasnt that bad he was a guy that liked things different and did what he wanted thats called true freedom whether you agree with how he used it or not at least he did something i just wish he didnt od and die he had a better plan to commit suicide on stage and while thats disturbing it woulda been a far more fitting end

you know what, I'm gonna change my tune(no I'm not being a limp wristed pansy or a flip flopper), GG Alin was important. He was the s**t flinging rebel that the religious right painted as a villian(he did say I am your enemy), because he did whatever the f**k he wanted to do. GG was f**ked up but he changed punk from being all bark and no bite into a slavering pit bull. He made punk dangerous, and for that he deserves thanks.
He was a f**king tool. So what if he was a shock rocker, his music sucked. GG is dead, and besides that, punk had and still has today people that have a message beyond songs like "I'm gonna Rape you". GG Allin is bullshit punk, the kind of punk that's all about the image and not about the message. Some people are content to have the image and be superficial, like the rest of soceity, but if your gonna be like that, dont call yourself punk.
