Love the batman trilogy but in my opinion the second one was the best..the joker was played to perfection but overall the batman series have become some of my all time movies..love the soundtracks too! :)
hey both of you punkr and ibelieve. i love all three movies !! and i dont know what you guys are really arguing about , but you should end it . cuz They like having it so if you like it you comment, you dont like it YOU DONT COMMENT.
@ibelieveit87: Well, it seems like you're agreeing with me :) Yes, it has less elements, thus the movie had much better structure and coherency. As the Batman phenomenon grew the directors wanted more and more motifs, messages, what you called 'elements'. They detracted from the movies rather than contribute anything meaningful.
@punkr0ckerboy5-- I disagree. This movie isn't necessarily better in acting, depth of emotions, etc., it was just more noticeable b/c of the less elements in it. this is just less action compared to the dark knight, and the dark knight rises was simply not a batman movie, it was a people versus terrorism movie, and even a bruce versus bane movie instead of a batman versus bane movie.
I just watched this for the first time with my husband and his brother last night over olive & arthichoke pizza and caesar salad (unnecessary details I know, but I like food). Bale's Bruce/Batman is so gloomy it made me feel a little depressed afterwards and it carried over through today, too. :( Dude needs some love. Even better, dude needs Jesus. But that's another story. :)
