I 'learned' Frank Chacksfield at my mother's knee while my dad was flying B-26s over northern Italy during WWII. His music still haunts me, and ranks right up there with Bert Kaempfert - still my fave.
Why can't we have at least one good radio station in every city & town, that will play the music of Frank Chacksfield and others like him. 1956,57 & 58 we had WPAT Gaslight Review- from Newark,NJ

I would like to have the song "Time" by Frank Chacksfield
Always wonderful to be introduced to a "new" orchestra from that period.
I love many kinds of music but the melodic strings of the full symphony orchestra lull me into a calming and peaceful mood.

When I was just a young man, Night and Day was a favorite of mine. The quiet and peaceful melody was able to transform my hectic days in to one of reverie. What a beautiful melody
takes you back to when music was MUSIC.

Chacksfield is one of my favorites his music is timeless and soothing, and I've been listening to him on easy listening stations for over 30 years.
I Love this song as it always reminds me of Audrey Hepburn in "B-fast at Tiffany's" :)
