After the 2007 split of R&B duo Floetry, Natalie Stewart -- aka the Floacist -- made a handful of guest appearances on recordings by other musicians, including Brian Culbertson's XII. She signed as a solo artist to the Shanachie label, who released her debut album, Floetic Soul, in November 2010. Dominated by seductive ballads featuring Stewarts trademark breathy whispers, she benefited from collaborations with Musiq Soulchild, Raheem DeVaughn, and Lalah Hathaway, along with production input from J.R. Hutson, Know-I, and Chris "Big Dog" Davis. Almost exactly two years later, she released Floetry Re:Birth -- produced by her husband, Nolan Weekes -- for the same label. ~ Andy Kellman, Rovi
Loved them as a group but love them even more as solo artists. Marsha has definitely made some major moves but this is what I love to listen to for relaxation. Need more like this.
It was The Floacist's idea to break up Floetry but unfortunately, Marsha is gaining more fame than she is. Which is a shame because The Floacist's album is pretty solid as well as Marsha's.
Without question she possess a smooth flow that allows you to be transported into the music and get lost. It was nice to see her be able to still stay true to her sound while adding a whole new dimension as a solo artist.

I think I'm in love!!! Her voice has something that makes me I can't even describe it......LOL
They were one of the best groups of this generation...I loved them and had all of their music and went to see them in concert many times...I dont know what made them break up but I wishh they could fix it...
I'm still wondering why this song is not played on the radio because it's beautiful.

My girl just got me this CD. She knows I am/was a big fan of Floetry. Can't stop listening to it. I hope it gets the recognition that it deserves. Hope Floetry gets back together also.
