Uh, the real dancer was NOT a man. There was a brief shot in the end when a man was used as a stunt-double for some break dance move but the rest of the entire movie mainly used one female dancer: hence all of those close-ups - and there was a second female dancer too for specific ballet movement but overall, it was just the one, very hot, very female body double dancer who did all of the "street dancing". Simon, go ahead and keep crushing!
80's = happy music. Flashdance.. . will forever been an icon of that 'feel good' era of music. Yeah.. as I age in time... I realize what great music the 70's and 80's gave us. Viva Flashdance.. . live on and show the next generation what great music is supposed to be!
