Ferry Corsten

Otherwise known as System F, in addition to using nearly 30 other (less prolific) pseudonyms, Rotterdam, Netherlands-born DJ and producer Ferry Corsten rose to prominence in the late '90s as one of Europe's top trance jocks, highlighted by an anthem-filled appearance on Ministry of Sound's first Trance Nation album. Throughout the first decade of the 2000s, Corsten issued mix albums at a roughly two-discs-per-year clip, including releases for Moonshine, Thrive, Ultra, and Gatecrasher. In 2005, he initiated his Flashover label, often an outlet for his own material, and issued his first production album, L.E.F., for EMI. The dancefloor-aimed album was followed in 2008 by Twice in a Blue Moon, a softer effort influenced by the birth of the DJ's daughter. Ferry is by far the best Trance dj by far. Not because of his fame but because on the decks he is not stop shredding, not just mixing in and out like these playboy djs. Twisting knobs, f**king with you nonstop and mind boggling the s**t out of you. I've been djing for 14 years and still cant grasp what he is about to do each track. He straight messes your mind and I am not even a trance fan, no joke I spin naughty house beats, progressive tech house etc. This guy stands alone!!!!!
