Over the course of the '90s, comedian Felicia Michaels shifted her standup persona from a dumb-blonde stereotype to a foul-mouthed but soft-spoken provocateur with an unrepentantly blue sense of humor. Michaels moved to Hollywood from Colorado Springs in 1983 at age 19 and began honing her craft. During the early '90s, Michaels appeared on a variety of standup comedy programs, even winning the Star Search Grand Prize in 1992; she also landed slots (mostly as a guest star) on sitcoms like Full House and was a regular on Class Clowns. During the late '90s, Michaels' standup career really began to take off -- she issued her first album, attended film school, and was nominated for Best Female Comic at the American Comedy Awards in 1998, and actually won the award the following year. In 2000, Michaels released her second standup recording, Lewd Awakenings. ~ Steve Huey, Rovi
I made the mistake of listening to her during work. Only a mistake because I was trying to stifle my laughter and forgot to breathe and I started crying a little bit and I was beet red and everyone was wondering what was wrong with me. But she said cotton p**sy and I couldn't help it.
