British neo-skiffle pop quartet led by singer Eddi Reader (b.Aug 28, 1959, Glasgow, Scotland) and featuring guitarist Mark Nevin, guitaron player Simon Edwards, and drummer Roy Dodds. The group went to #1 in the U.K. with their single "Perfect" in May 1988 and released its debut album, First of a Million Kisses. Anyway, love 'em. They make me think of an old house and garden in Scotland somewhere. Eddi Reader's voice is unmatchable and exquisite. Could listen to it for hours.
