Marilyn Manson makes this eerie and creepy. That's what makes it so good. She takes that onto a more mellowed out eeriness making it sound more sad and beautiful.
Decent voice, but it doesn't truly test her range nor showcase her abilities, making it come off redundant and tedious. Doesn't have the catchiness of Eurhythmics or the creepiness of Manson's outside of the context of the film. Overall... meh
Excellent cover, I agree, and, sorry, Manson didn't even come close to writing this and certainly didn't do it the justice that Browning does. The Eurythmics single was released back in 1983, written by Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart, during my early days in radio ;)
