I love this song! I have heard other versions, but this is probably my favorite. This is written by the Scottish soldiers fighting against Cope. In this particular battle they beat him and legend says he beat his troops across the English/ Scot border in their retreat.

LOL what a retarded song

A prominent flute part is included among the attributes, however, there is no flute part. The wind instrument heard in this song is a penny whistle or a tin whistle. Lol!

None of the songs here have anything to do with this! Well, "No More Vietnams" at least mentions bayonets... This is an 18thC-style ballad, not "leftie folk." I expect this to link to period marches and sea chanties, not the stuff it does here!
