I saw Ellis at a 60 seat house concert in Ogden Utah. The performance was at once funny and touching. Have not seen an artist with this unbelievable kind of presence. I really loved her live and her lyrics are so wise and brilliant. I adore seeing an artist who just HAS to do their music.

Just saw her this weekend at FalconRidge Folk fest. She is very funny, and has got the worlds biggest smile! But her songs are so compelling. Love the song about her grandmother - I Was Loved By a Queen.

Ellis is FANTASTIC! We saw her live in Oregon and we're hooked. Break the Spell is a great album but GO see her live if you get a chance. She's a talented musician and she's HILARIOUS too! Enjoy :)
