The odd combination of an Englishman in the midst of southeastern Texans, Electric Touch emerged following the demise of British band IV Thieves and Houston, TX-based Bojones. Shane Lawlor, Christopher Leigh, Ross Dubois, and Louis Messina, Jr. came together in Austin, and quickly won a following with well-received gigs at Coachella and South by Southwest. The band released its debut full-length -- recorded with producer Chris Smith -- in mid-2008. In 2012, Electric Touch returned with its sophomore album, Never Look Back. ~ Chris True, Rovi
I just saw them open for Framing Hanley a few days ago, these guys are amazing!!! I will be seeing them again in Jan in Austin. Their set was incredible and they are one of the coolest bands ive ever had the pleasure to meet! Love you guys!!!
I first saw Electric Touch opening for The Bravery in Houston in February 2008, and since I've seen them 3 other times. They're an incredible band made up of the most deserving, courteous and awesome guys, I wish them nothing but the best.
