Number 1 on Billboard 4/21/73 and charted for 14 weeks. Too me, one of the great epic monster of the golden age of rock.
Does anyone remember when this tune was first released? I *think* it was around 1970-'71; To my knowledge, Edgar & group wrote it as well; {Please DO correct me if I'm wrong!}; It got heavy radio airplay during that time, and was one of the tunes that made "The Edgar Winter Group" "hit the charts", & made people aware of them; Edgar's bro, Johnny, had his own style & commercial successes, altho their "styles" were very different. "Frankenstei n " is a great tune, and was "covered" by many artists.
