Dick Mullaney says:I've been a professional pianist most of my life. Great pianists like Earl 'Fatha'Hines and Teddy Wilson have always been & still are my ideals. I very much like many of today's pianists but Hines and Wilson are big influences on my playing. I studied classical piano for many years before and after WW2.I play stride jazz piano. I am 86 years old and have been told that I still swing. All I know is that I love playing the piano and love to listen to good piano players.

Earle Father Hines left his stamp on so much beautiful music. Too bad he had to leave us at such a young age. His accomplishme n t s will live for a long time. There must be a heaven where he his spirit will be rewarded.
