All of you morons that don't like Labrie's vocals, go listen to Justin Bieber or One Direction stations, because you obviously have no idea what good music is.
rdtrucking... look into 'Liquid Tension Experiment' it has Jordan Rudess, John Petrucci, and Mike Portnoy from DT.. No vocals. Tony Levi plays base rather than John Myung.
haha! I love Labrie! You sir are the one that needs a clue! lol JK. But seriously when I first started listening to DT... however many years ago I didn't care for him either, but he grew on me like a Canadian cancer. :P
I got to see them back in June, Max. That's my first exposure to the Band. What an awesome night, both Iron Maiden and Dream Theater. Note, this was in Albuquerque, NM.

I'm a thorough listener of Metropolis Pt. 2. So for this to be the first song I hear on my new DT station, I was simply just... Wow.
This song is truely amazing. I'm seeing them open for Iron Maiden in a few days. I'm so excited!!!

Jeeezzz...great composition. Reminded me of Rush in their early years of 2112, Hemispheres, Fly By Night. I'm going to look into these guys, first time I hear them.
Holy crap are they serious? Who wrote that, and who in the heck can play it, much less all together. That composer could give some of the classical greats a run for the money. Unless of course a computer sequencer is playing it - then it would make sense. Else gtfo that rocks. btw I saw these guys at the Orpheum in Boston way back in 95 I think, and they did in fact rock.

If you like this song, check out their album "Scenes From a Memory: Metropolis Part II". Excellent, seamless...
