Everybody wants to be my baby now. Some of the Doors reminds me of the Beatles, just add some psychedelic organ and Jim commands the vocal like no one before him, which to me was the defining factor that separated them from everyone else in their era. Also dig the funky jazz/salsa type grooves they took their jams into. A band that brought a variety of influences, and its a shame we didn't get more from them down through the 70's.
The Doors, "BREAK on THROUGH ( To The Other Side) (Come on Baby)LIGHT my FIRE,among others TOTALLY makes them one of Da-BADDEST PHUKKIN' Rock&Roll Bands,EVER!
