The D.C. alt-metal band Dog Fashion Disco doesn't play into classy decor or music mainstream. Their vigor cites the same intensity as Clutch, Tool, and Nothingface, taking shape for new millennium punk revival. The band, which is composed of frontman Todd D. Smith, guitarist Greg Combs, keyboardist Jeff Seigel, bassist Steve Mears, and drummer John Ensminger, has toured with the likes of Methods of Mayhem, POD, and Stone Temple Pilots. In early 2001, the band marked their debut with Anarchists of Good Taste on Spitfire Records. Committed to a Bright Future followed two years later, their final album for Spitfire. A deal with Artemis Records surfaced in November 2004 while the band prepared for their first live effort. Recorded at Fletcher's in Baltimore, MD, The City Is Alive Tonight...Live In Baltimore was released in January 2005. ~ MacKenzie Wilson, Rovi
chloroform Girl is one of my all-time favorite songs. Too bad Pandora doesn't have it. The video is awesome too. Look it up, you won't be disappointed.
Pandora should acquire Committed to a Bright Future and try for the Day of the Dead EP as well. This band has been one of my favorites since I heard about them circa 2002. Polkadot Cadaver is pretty awesome and I was glad to see them in concert last summer (though John wasn't drumming). PDC, for all practical purposes and despite what some hardcore DFD fans say, is basically a continuation of DFD; it has Todd, Jasan, and John (as recording drummer)--three of the primary members from DFD.
This band is so awesome, my head explodes every time I listen to them. I have to reassemble it with duct tape every time. Then I put my headphones back on and BANG my brains are on the wall again. They make me "squee" with joy like a fanboy let off his leash. Etc etc etc.

Please update the artist info. Is there anyway you can add music from their new bands, Polkadot Cadaver and Knives Out? The music from all three bands is so great. I'd love to hear it on here
If you get a chance to see these guys @ a show, look out for the wall of death. Most violent gig I've been to. Perfect example of Looks can be deceiving (these dudes don't look anything like they sound).
What a shame that their version of Grease isn't on here...or Commited To A Bright Future. I understand not having Erotic Massage, Experiments In Alchemy or The Embryo's In Bloom but really so ,uch from their catalog is being left out. And Red is right on the money with Polkadot Cadaver. It's the 2nd best DFD album they never made.
