I am a lifelong admirer of this group, and I grew up listening to them and others gospel groups like them. I have been fortunate enough to play this group's music over the airwaves during my time spent as a radio announcer. I actually own and presenty have in my possession 45 rpm vinyl recordings of this group on the Peacock label that still play. PRICELESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I enjoy the contemporary music, but the old time traditional gospel is the best!

They were and are the greatest gospel group.They have that rare and unique blending of voices. The harmony is something that can't be duplicated. The temptations are another group that I feel that have the unique harmony. They were looking for a sound and they found it.
