I've heard many erhu songs, but none have been as good as this one. It isn't excessive, rather it's hauntingly poignant. It sticks with you, makes you pause a bit.

Can anyone tell me the name of the instrument that solos for most of this song? (An asian stringed instrument often heard in Chinese folk music.)
Unfortunatel y , it does not appear in the audio sample. So I guess this is a pretty tough question.
