'Industrial' started in the '70's, though it didn't become hugely popular until Nine Inch Nails released their first album in '89.

Why does everything get compared to dubstep? This is clearly industrial.
The intro is almost like early version of dubstep.

This song was, for me as well, the song that started it all for me with Depeche. 27yrs. 4tours and all their albums later and they are still one of my all time favourites and always will be!
