Schwarzenfeld, Germany's Deadlock first came into existence in 1998 but underwent numerous alterations to both their sound and personnel before arriving at a complex fusion of death and gothic metal, topped with the "beauty and the beast" vocals of Sabine Weniger and Johannes Prem, for their 2001 debut album, The Arrival. The group was rounded out by guitarists Sebastian Reichl and Gert Rymen, bassist Thomas Huschka, and drummer Tobias Graf, and their follow-up efforts, Earth.Revolt (2005) and Wolves (2007), saw them incorporating electronic programming, symphonic orchestrations, and even harsher elements of black metal into their ever-evolving sound. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia, Rovi
The song Seal Slayer Kinda put me off of listening to this band. I mean it's awesome that they stand up for that, but it just makes me feel odd. Very good sound though.
Lay off the Godsmack dude for liking them. musical interests vary. personally I prefer more of my heavy music to be straight deathmetal screams and growls (save powermetal and progressive). This may no be my bread and butter but what I've heard's okay. Once you disrespecct someone because of their interests you open yourself up to the same.
idk what your talking about murphy42, this is one of the best guy girl bands out there in metal, thats why you listen to that crap called killswitch engage,f**ki n g choose to scream or sing, leave that emo crap to these boys cutting there wrists. thats why they have 2 singers.
