Daniel Lioneye

Daniel Lioneye is a splinter group created by members of the acclaimed Finnish hard rock band H.I.M. -- namely Mikko Viljami ‘Linde' Lindström (a.k.a. Daniel Lioneye) on vocals and guitar, Mikko Heinrik Julius ‘Migé Amour' Paananen on bass, Ville Hermanni ‘Rakohammas' Valo on drums, Kai ‘Hiili' Hiilesmaa on keyboards, and one Ike put in charge of sound effects. The group's first album, The King of Rock'n Roll, arrived in 2001 and consisted of sleazy hard rock, but after a decade of inactivity, only Linde returned for 2010's Vol. II, where he was backed by recent H.I.M. keyboardist Janne "Burton" Puurtinen and Enochian Crescent drummer Black Vomit Bolton for what amounted to an industrialized black metal experiment, released by The End Records. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia, Rovi
