Another fantastic collaboration in the partner-heavy rap underground, Danger Doom brought together producer Danger Mouse (Gorillaz, plus his own heavily publicized production career) with rapper MF Doom (owner of a half-dozen aliases, all with full-length releases). The album The Mouse and the Mask found their talents meshing much better than seemed possible from the awkward billing. The Danger Doom project actually coalesced 18 months prior to the album's release, when the two agreed to begin working together via mail, with help on vocals from the cartoon characters of Cartoon Network's Adult Swim shows. The long gestation period proved worthwhile when the album finally appeared on Epitaph in October 2005. ~ John Bush, Rovi
Don't read this because it actually works. You will get kissed on the nearest Friday by the LOVE of your life. Tomorrow will be the best day of your life. However if you do not post this comment to at least 3 songs you will die in 2 days, now you've started reading this so don't stop. This is so scary put this in at least 5 songs in at least143 minutes when if done press f6 and your lovers name will appear on the screen in big letters this is scary cuz it actually works
This is one of the most under rated hip hop albums ever made. Doom murdered tracks with his flow and Danger made some of the most creative beats I have ever heard. Classic.
In my opinion this cat is one of the best MC's period. No matter what alias he uses. From KMD (released May 7, 1991) to now. This brother has been at it for over two decades now and has maintained a level of quality rarely seen so consistently. Check out all of his aliases

Waitin for the next one. Dangermouse is like King Midas.
You're all saying their like outkast because they are not like rap on the radio. This is real hip hop with complex beats, intellegent lyrics and a more legitimate sound. Outkast doesn't corner the market on that, they just got lucky enough to get commercially famous.
You think Benzie Box sounds like Outkast because Cee Lo is on the hook. Cee Lo is/was a part of the Dungeon Family, who are associated with Outkast and Cee Lo has been on many Outkast tracks.
Great mashup, but not as good as MF DOOM's other album with Mad Lib. The Mouse is an amazing producer but something about Madlib and MF DOOM just really mixed together perfect. If you listen to DOOM's own beats they sound like (crappier) versions of Madlib beats anyway.
