Damien Rice writes and sings songs that are so organic and honest - an oasis in a desert of commercially driven pop stars who hold guitars or sit behind pianos pretending (don't get me wrong- I like to listen to them too and I cant blame anyone for making commercially attractive tunes and hooks so they can pay their bills). I saw Damien Rice live at the Pageant in St. Louis, MO. The Frames opened up for him. The Frames were amazing. The Pageant is such an intimate setting and Damien Rice just blew me away!
