Still love this one and Wooden Ships, but radio killed everything else for me.

I almost cut my hair too, and then I did, but then I wised up and grew it back. Let your freak flag fly brothers & sisters!
People not around then might wonder about a song built around the lyric "almost cut my hair", sung with great emotion as if something important was the subject matter. "it happened just the other day...". Sounds crazy now, but hair length on men actually was a big deal back then.

But Reed, you must be kidding, when this LP was first released, it got ALOT OF AIR PLAY AT THE TIME!!! Crosby, Stlls, Nash and Young were loved by many people of their generation-- I N C L U D I N G THE HIP DJ's in NYCITY!!!
