Too bad CSN don't see that their idol Obama is just as bad as Nixon with the spying on citizens, having a corrupt, justice obstructing Attorney General and plans to open fire on citizens without a trial and conviction. If they were honest they would protest the left who are worse than the right was in the 60's.
Disc 1 has a song about Jim Morrison and an amazing song by written arraigned sung and played by crosby's son that he wrote for his wife . Another musical genius destined for greatness in the archives of outstanding composers of our time.
If you like csny you should check out Crosby in his other project CPR with his biological son who has great talent the apple did NOT fall far from the tree. Look up "Live at the Willtern" disc2 even has a guest voice of phil Collins and Nash too!
Heard Carry On on Fox News as they went to commercial break last week. Been singing it for over a week now:) Thanks for playing it Pandora

Got some of the lyrics wrong on Woodstock...farmers riding shotguns in the sky then they turned into butterflies? lol And I dreamed I saw the bomber jet planes riding shotgun in the sky. What a great song of the 60s. It's so disappointing to me that so many of my generation have abdicated this dream for the petty tyranny and vapid materialism they fought so strongly then. Like Smashmouth said: What the hell happened?

HELPLESS, Deja Vu & Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere----reminds me of every time I look for management in this frigid job!!!!!!!!
Those harmonies are simply deadly, timeless, brilliant...Stills is a complete genious, as is Young, and the other 2 can sing their asses off.

Deja Vu was the first album I ever bought. I laid on floor under my parents stereo counsole all night listening to it over and over. I still have it playing at least 2-3 times a week even now.

Valerie5793 - great story, I'm 63 and this music never grows old.

Nash's simple man just kills me. I could listen to that over and over. And have.
I took my 15 year old son to see them in an audience full of mostly graying heads and when this song came on, one of my proudest moments as a parent was when he stood on his chair and sung all the words, fist pumping in the air. many people next to me nodded in approval and said I did a good job raising my boy! I was truly overcome with emotion sharing that music with the next generation.....
For What Its Worth from Stills is still today an anthem for those who believe in a better world. I was 18 when CSN began their journey together sometimes with and sometimes without Young. They are honestly to this day one of the few groups who defined the era.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, If you were there, no explanation is necessary, if you weren't, no explanation will do. The 60's were a crazy time and the music reflects all the love, hate, freedom, repression , black, white, north, south, long hair, short hair, establishment , hippie, war, peace, Nixon, McGovern, Eagles, Cowboys, We lived through it and changed the world.
