Classic rock song which lives on forever
Wikipedia says the song was written by and credit to CCR. There's nothing on the net about any band from the 60's called Willy and the Poor Boys, which is the name of the CCR album on which Down on the Corner premiered.
My mother went to school with the group who wrote this song and sold it to CCR. They're mentioned in the song, Willie and the Poor Boys.
Another toe-tapping CCR hit.
Gotta love the driving bass line.
