Frank Ocean did a remix of this song, featuring this track. Lovedddddd it just as much <3
@patpat It is a relaxing song, and I like it a lot, but it's still proven to be the first. Number one's sole purpose is to relax you. It's SCIENTIFIC! HA HA HA!
Something about this song makes my heart melt everytime I listen to it. Just so relaxing and sweet. Great for those perfect summer days even though I listen to it almost everyday. I just never get tired of it m! Love Coldplay.
normally i love coldplay, but something about this song just doesn't suit me. I'm not a big fan of the guitar riffs throughout, and it overall doesn't really show off Chris Martin's awesome voice the way their other songs do.
I do like the lyrics though, really good observation methinks42!
"But it helps." *laughs* Yes, well said, spartanlegends. Coldplay certainly can help put things in a positive perspective. Music (GOOD music) is quite a gift. :D
You know Arvis, most Coldplay songs are. I find most of their songs perfect for rides in summer with the window down, or out on a deck in the late afternoon, early evening. Life is wonderful, and to be honest the music doesn't do that, life does. (But it helps.)

the music video is amazing... the song isn't bad either :)
This song is perfect for those drives home in early summer, with the sun still high in the sky and the warm air blowing through the window... *deep sigh*
me thinks42-you have an amazing observation! I never, ever realized that before! Wow, how sad. I can't imagine having to remember somthing so beautiful and special and know you may never come back to it again.

Oh man, I listen to this song all the time, and it just hit me what it means.
It's about a soldier who's gone away to war, ("Everybody was for fighting," "People moving all the time/inside a perfectly straight line") and he's remembering when he was sitting in the strawberry swing with his love, and he's all wistful about it. It's a beautiful song, but it's so sad, and now I tear up every time I hear it!
