I talked to Chris Taylor's wife Gilead and she said they recently of last year are working on songs together and are getting them mastered and recorded. The reason why it's taking so long because they have a family and being a parent takes time, love and patience. Raising children come first. So they should have some new stuff coming out soon in 2013 or in early 2014.
Oh, it bothers me when people change their opinions just to agree with me! It's not like I'm going to eat them if they don't share an opinion with me. I've heard Charlie Hall before and really like him a lot. Lots of talent. I recently heard Wickham's songs "Grace" and "Desire". Very beautiful.
Hey, no offense taken! I'm not one of those people who must be agreed with; everyone should have their own opinions and voice them. You should check out Charlie Hall if you haven't before; I love love love his music! It's simple and original kinda like some of the David Crowder*Band - - a l s o an AMAZING group.
I don't think that it's right to make fun of someone or something just because you don't happen to like it, so I don't. I guess that I just have so many other things to listen to so I don't particularly care to listen to Phil Wickham. No offense meant. I do think that it would be really cool to see him in concert though. He does kind of seem like one of those artists that would be way better live.
Oh! Okay! Still though, why don't ya like Wickham's voice? His music is so inspiring! You should go see Wickham in concert; he's incredible and, in my humble opinion :), even better live! Just got Heaven and Earth; it's really cool. One of my friends thinks Wickham is just a regular guy and can't understand my opinion that his music and voice are fresh and almost heavenly :). She always teases me, poking fun at everything he does from his mannerisms to his clothes! :)
I REALLY like Kutless and Sanctus Real, but I'm not a big fan of Falling Up. Maybe It's just 'cause I haven't heard much of their music.Oh, in my earlier comment, I meant that I didn't really like Phil Wickham's voice, I don't have a problem at all with anything about Chris Taylor.:)You should really check out John Waller. His music is AMAZING!!!!! ! ! !
Absolutely luv Rush of Fools, but as for the rest- Mike's Chair, etc., can't say they're my fave. By the way, why don't you like Taylor's voice? It's amazing!! :0 Never heard of John Waller before, so can't really comment on him. Have you ever listened to Sanctus Real, Kutless, or Falling Up? They're some of my favorite artists. :)
I like his songs just fine but his voice is what throws me off.I do like the songs "After your heart" and "Beautiful". I Really like Rush of Fools. what about you? I also really like John Waller,Warre n Barfield and Mikeschair.
I didn't really like Wickham either @ first, but after I heard True Love and Beautiful, I changed my mind- he really is awesome and his music is so very lovely.
I hear ya! Not a big fan of Wickham, but I love Caleb Rowden and Chris Taylor! I hope that they each comes out with at least one other album.
