i really love this song, every time i hear it i remember the scenes from the movie The Passion of the Christ, every thing he suffered for me and every one else.
" songs must have been composed in the last decade. On Christmas album: Henry Wadsworth Longfellow wrote the poem "I Heard the bells on Christmas Day" in 1864. I have yet to see a powerpoint at church give credit to the artists who wrote the hymns.
I just want to let everyone know, Casting Crowns did not write the lyrics. This is from a hymn composed in 1910. The lyrics were written by L. Wilbur Chapman. Plagiarism is considered a crime by the secular world. I'm sure Jesus would not approve of Casting Crowns not giving credit to the artists who composed the songs they arranged on their album Until the Whole World Sings. This just perpetuates the derogatory remarks to hymns these days, when people think the only "good" meaningful, "relevant
