The Carpenters produced such beautiful music, so mello, so smooth and lovely!
She didn't have a voice. Her throat was an instrument. And Richard has such an ear for music and those fingers on the keyboard are truly magical.

I remember watching the Karen Carpenter Story on Lifetime, I was so sad when I found out how she really died. I'll miss her . I use to sing her songs at karaoke and I use to get a standing ovation. We'll all miss her!

The two purest female voices in music IMO are Karen Carpenter and Alison Krauss. Both sound like what I would imagine angels sound like......PU R E HEAVEN.
