The alternative rock group Caroline's Spine consists of vocalist/guitarist Jimmy Newquist, guitarist Mark Haugh, bassist Scott Jones and drummer Jason Gilardi. The band's consistent touring found them sharing the bill with a wide array of artists, including Catherine Wheel, Better Than Ezra, KISS and Aerosmith. Their 1997 debut Monsoon was released on Hollywood Records, followed by Attention Please two years later. ~ Heather Phares, Rovi
What an underrated band ... Lyrics are amazing ... Melodies and musicianship even better ... Yes I've seen them live 5 times or so ... Always a great and memorable evening ... One of the greatest unknown bands ever ...

Seen them in Mesa, AZ in 1997 at fat tuesdays loved it. Still do!!!!!
These guys are great. I stumbled across the first album ever at a Salvation Army. I don't think it was in print very long and it was recorded entirely by Jimmy Newquist and contained many songs that were used on monsoon.

I live in Waterloo, Iowa and we were doing an opening for the 5 Sullivan Brothers Memorial Museum. Jimmy Newquist, out of PURE coincidence, was in town doing an interview with a local radio station, he found out about the opening and came and sang "Sullivan" accoustic on an hours notice. Fan for life here.
These guys might be the most underrated band in rock.

My band Lot 74 got to open for these guys at a really small venue in madison. So we got to meet them and they're all REALLY chill guys. They like to party and meet new people. I'd spent a lot of time listening to them already but I like em all the more after having met them. Great people.
I love these guys..im a Tulsa native so im pretty lucky to have grown up on them. If you havent heard the acoustic version of Sullivan....LISTEN its amazing.

i have seen them 5 times here at Penn State. amazing. back in the day it was with jummys chicken shack and emilys toybox.
good, doesn't come close to what they are! In concert, you couldn't beat them! They have strong melodies, great hooks, and together they are meshed as one from the first foot on stage. It sucks that the label didn't promote them enough...they could have really made it. I love this band!
