Following a trail blazed by the best-selling Benedictine Monks of Santo Domingo de Silos, Monjes Budistas Sakya Tashi Ling was a Spanish monastic choir in the Tibetan Buddhist Sakyapa tradition. Combining time-honored Buddhist chanting with Western electronic pop idioms, Sakya Tashi Ling's debut album, Monjes Budistas Sakya Tashi Ling, appeared on EMI in early 2006 and was available in the US under the title My Spirit Flies to You.
