By 2002, the Brothers Cazimero, a duet comprised of bassist Robert and guitarist Roland Cazimero, had played together for more than 25 years with a soothing, laid-back style that earned them numerous fans in Hawaii. They recorded over 20 albums on the Mountain Apple label during that time, and performed for years at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel in Waikiki. ~ Stacia Proefrock, Rovi
My daughter was named after this song. I was traveling from Honolulu to the Big island in 1993 and was sitting next to the kasimero brothers and told them that my daughter middle name was e ku u lei they smiled and wished her a good life.
We saw the brothers perform at Chai's Bistro by the Aloha Tower on our anniversary about 5 years ago. We went back again 2 years later, after we had become real fans. We took pictures with them after the show and they were very nice! Real Ohana hospitality!

I saw them as a teenager at the Royal Hawaiian and never forgot what a great show it was. That must have been in their early days.

I went to school with Robert and Roland. They were especially kind to me during my year in Hawai'i. They were great then -- and it's wonderful that they are still playing and singing together and how their voices-and musicality -- have continued to grow and become.
We met Robert, Roland and Mom,in 1975 after a five year tour in Japan. That's where we met their younger brother Rodney. Aloha to all our Hawaiian Club members from Tachikawa and Yokota Air Bases. Harvey and Kay Lum (likitiki1@cox.net)
