Brave Saint Saturn

When they're not skanking to the ska-punk sound in Five Iron Frenzy, Reese Roper (guitar/vocals), Dennis Culp (guitar), and Keith Hoerig (bass) compose a swirly, spacedelic style in Brave Saint Saturn. They like to say they're forerunners of "astro-rock," so Brave Saint Saturn's eclectic, noisy mix of turntables, strings, keyboards, and accordions goes for the space-pop thing. Sarabellum issued the trio's debut, So Far from Home, in early 2000. Pandora NEEDS Anti Meridian... really defines BS2's sound and identity as a band. AFAIK it's because they're on an independent label now and getting the rights for the music is... different. Dunno how though, mostly an educated guess.
@Michael: Yeah, they don't even have all of the FIF albums... And they are two of the best bands ever.
Both FIF and BS2 are really underappreci a t e d on Pandora. Lackluster descriptions , barely any of their music... :(
They're my two favorite bands, so that kinda makes me mad.
