Been a Jazz lover most of my adult life. I was introduced to Boney by a much younger relative of mine (Thanx Benoit)with the "Trust" album in the early 90's...haven't missed a beat since. His shows are awesome too!!

His is brilliant..........his music is so awesome, a wonderful, sensual, serene and out of this world escape !
..Al Gagne.....thank you for what you did, sir.I missed that lovely outing in the forests by seveal yrs.You guys/gals got the poopie end of the stick there and when all of you came back. Not cool at all.Again thank you.As for these two great jazz artists....wow, what a great combo.Alone they're great.Together they are wow+.As already stated they really feed off from each other.Another reason i listen to jazz.I,too, use to love going to Tower Records and the such to find new jazz music.
I over heard this music playing in the parking lot of Walmart. I had to asked the gentleman who was the artist. I never really listen to Jazz but, i love this man's music. Boney Jam's is excellent.

I was introduced to the music of Boney James some years ago while residing in Dallas,Texas. There was a 2level music store known at that time as Tower Records. Boy do I miss shopping at stores like that. While searching for new jazz, a store clerk there asked if I had ever heard of the artist. Well after listening to the Boney James/ BoneyJames album for the 1st time, Ive been impressed with well known SaxOPHONist ever since. He Is AWESOME!!!!! Najee is my other favorite artist.
I love, love, love, love Boney James. I've seen him several times in concert. He gives an amazinf show. Can't wait to see him again. It's been gong on two years now and I haven't heard of him playing anywhere n the DC/MD/VA area. Boney James where are you hiding these days??????
Boney is a unique saxophonist, who has the ability and versatility to play with anybody !

What an album! Boney James is flat out The Man on the sax! I like Braun too, and they play off each other very well. Try to listen to this album and remain in a bad mood; it's hard to do.
Bridging the gap between neo-soul and jazz ! Gotta give it up...good stuff !Exposure to Flora Purim didn't hurt. Flow on....

Just saw Boney here in Sacramento three weeks ago...what a performance! Sacramento loves him, he packs the house every time. Have all of his CDs...His soulful sound can't be matched
Why is "Shake It Up" the only CD in the discography? WTF pandora???

Boney James is the MAN! He made me forget about other sax players such as, Kenny G, Paul Taylor & Jonathan Butler who are all good musicians in their own right, but Boney is the man with the meat for the beat.
I had the pleasure of seeing BoneyJames in concert while we were in Estes Park, Colorado visitng and he was playing at the Jazz Festival in Colorado Springs, Colorado this past spring 2008. He rocked the house and had the crowd shaking and groving. We whole hardly, knew all his R&B-ish and pop side of jazz music that he so amazingly performed at this concert. He is one of "my" top artists that I listen to on a daily basis. His music puts me in a calm, spiritual state. Sit back and enjoy Boney J
