Classic, let it play on and on. This is one of the best Marley tracks, it is in keping with Bob's message of peace eventhough the song title is War.
I agree with hussein that the tribut to Haile Salassie should be stated as a footnote to this track.
I wish there was some more written here explaining this song and its lyrics to put it into context. It is important to let people know who delivered this speech, to whom when and under what circumstance s . Everyone look up Haile Salassie and check out his role in WW1 and his address to league of Nations. This song is an excerpt from that speech. Understandin g the political stances and the beliefs of the Rasta religion is important too
