A New York-based producer, Blockhead began his hip-hop life on the other side of the mic, but later determined that his ear for beats was better than his raps. Having produced tracks for Aesop Rock, Slug of Atmosphere, Murs, and S.A. Smash, Blockhead made waves with a record of his own, the Mush Records release Broke Beats. He also worked with hip-hop comedy troupe Party Fun Action Committee, and created an instrumental work for Ninja Tune. ~ Chris True, Rovi
This freaked me out This isn't fake. Apparently, if you copy and paste this on ten comments in the next ten minutes, you will have the best day of your life tomorrow. You will either get kissed or asked out, if you break this chain you will see a little dead girl in your room tonight. In the next 53 minutes someone will say I love you or I'm sorry This freaked me out This isn't fake.
I can understand why he has so many admirers and praising comments below. His track Which One Of You Jerks Drank My Arnold Palmer is quite deep and rich.
Easily one of the most memorable producers I have heard. I'm glad he's getting more attention especially now that Which One of You Jerks Drank My Arnold Palmer? was featured in the GTA V trailer.
Blockhead is the s**t, I mean his beats are so f**king ill. When he was with Aesop Rock they were the greatest duo in hip-hop. Everything this guy touches turns into hip-hop gold. I'm sure you could get a s**tty MC in with Blockhead and it'd be at least a good album.
Definitely music by cave light, in my opinion is blockhead's best album. Totally just chill shiz you can puff and bob your head too. HIm and shadow
