John & Paul played all of the instruments on this track. Definitely not the last song recorded by them. I Me Mine was actually the last song recorded by The Beatles in January, 1970. They had only rehearsed it in January, 1969 for the Let it Be film. Since that rehearsal was in the film they needed to do a proper recording for the sound track. John was not present for the session, but I believe it was the last session officially documented as a Beatles session. :)

This is not anywhere near close to the last song recorded by The Beatles. The Abbey Road album was the last recorded, although Let It Be was the last released. So, whichever song was the last one recorded on Abbey Road was it. Unless you count Free As A Bird or Real Love from Anthology. It is, however; the only song recorded exclusively by John & Paul, George and Ring were not available and John was in a big hurry to record it so they did it that night by themselves. Great song!!
