Love this song
One of the best songs on the album.
I believe this is the one Amber did the other night on American Idol, but I'm not for sure.

hahaha--i always thought meeting a man from the motor trade meant she was running away with a car salesman! :P
This song is Eleanor Rigby as a youth, running away to elope.
It was rumored the girl in this song is leaving home to have an abortion, thus "meeting the man from the motor trade." Not sure if it's true or not. I find this a sad song.
Another beautiful smaltzy McCartney masterpiece! !
pointed comments to parents in this song. Interesting to hear John singing the "parents" part of this song

The song is suppose to be about a woman leaving her parents house.

I don't really understand. Can somebody tell me?
Love it. Unbelievable arrangement. One of the best on the album.

Having said that, how is this similar to "When the Tigers Broke Free"?
